So I’m sure everyone has heard of the world famous blush by Nars. If you haven't, let me introduce you to Orgasm! It’s a peachy pink blusher that is supposed to look good on all skin tones! I have been hearing about this blusher since I was 5 years old, okay not really but I’ve heard of it for a very long time. The moment I stepped into London town a few years ago I ran around the city trying to find it. I tried it out in the Selfridges beauty department for the very first time because I had no idea what Space Nk was back then! I was extremely disappointed! As much as I wanted to buy it didn't look good on me!
Ever since that day a few years ago I totally forgot about the blusher until the day I saw this baby in a Space NK and almost fainted because it had Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer together with Albatross!!

I desperately wanted the blush to look good on me this time around so I could justify snapping it up! And lo and behold! It looked GREAT! Absolutely great! And I know I didn't make myself think it looks great because I’ve worn it about twice now and each time I’ve gotten compliments, yes, my friends, that is when and how you know a product is a keeper!
One thing i must warn everyone against is that Orgasm is not a day time blush! It's got too much shimmer in it for a day time blush! Unless you've got a very light hand and prefer a shimmery cheek I’d give this a miss for the day! The blush is also very sheer and is not the right product if you want a punch of colour! However, if that is a look you prefer you can wear it on top of a peachy cream blusher to give it more opacity! I wore it over MAC's 'Something Special' cream blush and it looked lovely!
The Laguna bronzer is amazing! It’s deceptively dark in the pan but it comes out very sheer and is excellent for contouring as well as bronzing! The Albatross highlighter is really nice but it has to be used sparingly to avoid looking like a disco ball!
I love the packaging which was another one of the reasons I fainted when I saw it! It has a mirror and for the longest time I wanted to get a Model Mirror and this just eradicates the need for that temporarily. For anyone who's wondering what a Model Mirror is, it's basically a portable/compact sized mirror with mini hd lights! I will do a blog post on it soon!

Beyoncé, someone with a darker skin tone than Amber is also wearing orgasm with a very nude lip; it gives her a lovely peachy pink flush!

Emmy Rossum, someone with a very pale skin tone is wearing a classic red lip and is also sporting Orgasm blusher which looks absolutely fabulous!

It Is available on the uk! You can get it at selfridges and any space nk! Or online! They do complimentary shipping over a certain amount! I know it's a little expensive :-x but you do get three products! X
ReplyDeleteI have the orgasm and laguna duo and love them! At first i thought it didnt work for me but after a while i grew to like it. I do actually use orgasm during the day as it gives a hint of colour and shimmer (but not too shimmery, more like a glow)
